MEET JERIC

If you’re reading this you are probably curious about who we are. My name is Jeric and I am an adventure enthusiast along with my talented partner Benjamin Halilovic. My strong passion in travel film making started in 2015 when I first saw a drone shot overlooking an island from a bird’s eye point of view. Throughout the years of film making I’ve learned that capturing the genuine emotions and moments that I shared with my friends is equally as important as getting those nice cinematic shots. LET’S BE HONEST.. when you get older you’re not going to be talking about how nice the drone shot was or how nice your photos were; you are most likely going to talk about the memories that you created over the years with your friends and loved ones, the holidays you spent in your favourite resort & most importantly your wedding day and of-course how awesome your videographers were :)

Jeric Reyes is the founder of The Mountain Poets. We are Alberta based wedding film makers who are available to shoot throughout Canada and worldwide. Jeric has been filming weddings for over 5 years and have gotten the chance to film over 100 beautiful weddings. All you have to do is have the best day and celebrate.

MEET BENJAMIN

Benjamin specializes in adventure filmmaking. His work has been featured on mediums like GoPro and Al Jazeera. Working worldwide alongside some of the best names in the industry (@doyoutravel, @gypsea_lust & @jacob just to name a few), Benjamin has truly mastered the industry inside and out. Capturing those hard to get, one-shot moments is his forte and storytelling is his dearest passion… or in his own words: “If you don’t feel it, you won’t remember it”.
